Honor keeps expanding its budget X6 lineup, and the newest addition brings something most modern phones have dropped: a proper headphone jack. The Honor X6e has launched with a massive 7,500mAh battery and a genuinely low price. Here is everything confirmed so far, and what it means for buyers in Pakistan.
What Is the Honor X6e
The Honor X6e joins an already crowded family of X6 phones, following the X6, X6a, X6b, X6c, and X6d. Each version tends to bring small, targeted upgrades rather than a full redesign, and the X6e is no different, focusing mainly on battery capacity while keeping the price low.
This is a budget, entry-level device built for buyers who want long battery life, basic daily functionality, and a low upfront cost, rather than performance or camera quality.

Where Has It Launched and What Does It Cost
The Honor X6e has officially launched in Malaysia, priced at MYR 699, which works out to roughly $170. It comes in a single configuration of 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, available in Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black.
As of now, Honor has not announced a Pakistan launch or local pricing for the X6e. Honor does sell other X-series phones in Pakistan already, so a local release is plausible, but nothing has been confirmed. Treat any Pakistan price you see elsewhere right now as a guess rather than an official figure.

The Battery Is the Real Selling Point
A 7,500mAh battery is unusually large for a phone priced at $170. Honor states the typical capacity is 7,500mAh, with a rated value of 7,320mAh, and claims up to 29.6 hours of continuous video playback on a single charge.
For buyers who use their phone heavily throughout the day, or who deal with unreliable electricity access, this kind of battery size means significantly fewer charging cycles compared to standard budget phones, most of which sit around 5,000mAh.
Charging is handled at 45W, and Honor includes the charger in the box in Malaysia, along with a protective case and a pre-installed screen protector. This is a genuinely generous retail package for a phone at this price point.
Why the Headphone Jack Matters
Most phones released in 2026, even flagship models, have removed the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack in favor of wireless-only audio. The Honor X6e keeps it, which matters for buyers who rely on wired earphones, either for cost reasons or because they prefer the reliability of a physical connection over Bluetooth.
This is a small detail on a spec sheet, but a practical one for a large group of budget buyers who are not ready to invest in wireless earbuds.
Display and Design
The 6.61-inch LCD display runs at HD+ resolution (720 x 1604 pixels), paired with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the resolution is modest, the higher refresh rate still makes everyday scrolling and app switching feel smoother than a standard 60Hz budget display.
Peak brightness reaches up to 1,010 nits, which should keep the screen visible under direct sunlight, an important factor for outdoor use in Pakistan’s climate.
Built to Survive Daily Wear
The X6e carries an IP64 rating, protecting it against dust and light water splashes, along with SGS certification for drop resistance from heights of up to 1.8 meters. While this is not as rugged as higher-end Honor models with full IP68 protection, it is a solid level of durability for a phone in this price range.
Performance Expectations
With a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, this phone is built for calling, texting, WhatsApp, and light browsing. It is not designed for gaming or heavy multitasking, and buyers should set expectations accordingly.
The phone does support virtual RAM expansion, borrowing space from storage to improve multitasking slightly, a common feature in this price segment.
Camera Performance
The 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture should handle daylight photography reasonably well, with up to 10x digital zoom available. The 5MP front camera covers basic selfies and video calls. Neither camera is built to compete with mid-range or flagship devices, but both are functional for everyday sharing on WhatsApp and social media.
Could the Honor X6e Launch in Pakistan?
Honor already has an established presence in the Pakistani market through other X-series phones, which makes a future X6e launch realistic. Budget phones with strong battery life tend to perform well in Pakistan, especially among buyers upgrading from older devices or looking for a reliable backup phone.
If the X6e does arrive in Pakistan, expect the local price to be higher than a direct dollar-to-rupee conversion of the Malaysia price, once import duties and dealer margins are factored in.

Conclusion
The Honor X6e stands out in a crowded budget segment mainly because of its 7,500mAh battery and the return of a proper headphone jack, both genuinely useful features rather than marketing extras. It has launched in Malaysia at around $170, and while a Pakistan release has not been confirmed, Honor’s existing footprint here makes it a phone worth watching over the coming weeks.
