Honor has just expanded its budget-friendly X7e lineup with a version built for people who hate charging their phone often. The Honor X7e Plus 5G brings an 8,100mAh battery, a newer chipset, and tougher durability, all while keeping the price in an affordable range. Here is what has been confirmed, and what it means for buyers watching from Pakistan.
What Is the Honor X7e Plus 5G
Just a month after launching the standard Honor X7e in May, Honor has released an upgraded “Plus” version with 5G connectivity. This is not a completely new phone, but a meaningfully improved version of an existing model, aimed at buyers who want longer battery life and better durability without paying flagship prices.
Where Has It Launched and What Does It Cost
The Honor X7e Plus 5G has officially launched in Qatar and Oman. Pricing starts at QAR 999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, which works out to roughly $245 to $275 depending on the exact conversion rate used across regional listings. The higher 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at QAR 1,099.
As of now, Honor has not announced availability or pricing for Pakistan. Given that Honor already sells other X-series phones in the Pakistani market, a local launch is a realistic possibility, but nothing has been confirmed yet. Treat any Pakistan-specific price you see elsewhere as an estimate rather than an official figure until Honor Pakistan makes a statement.

The Battery Is the Main Highlight
An 8,100mAh battery is unusually large, even by 2026 standards. This is 600mAh more than the standard Honor X7e, which already had a sizable 7,500mAh cell. Honor claims the battery can deliver around 12 hours of continuous short-video streaming even in extreme cold at -30°C, or 14 hours in extreme heat at 50°C.
Honor also states the battery is built to retain at least 80 percent of its original health even after several years of regular charging cycles. For buyers who keep their phone for three to four years, this kind of long-term battery health claim matters more than most people realize.
Charging is capped at 45W, which is not the fastest available, but combined with a battery this large, most users will only need to charge once every day and a half to two days under normal use.

Display and Design
The 6.87-inch display uses a TFT LCD panel rather than AMOLED, and the resolution stays at HD+ (720p) rather than Full HD. This is a common trade-off in this price segment, where brands prioritize battery size and durability over screen sharpness.
The 120Hz refresh rate still makes scrolling feel smooth, and Dynamic Dimming plus Eye Comfort modes help reduce strain during long usage sessions, especially at night.

Built for Rough Conditions
The X7e Plus carries a serious durability upgrade over the standard model. It holds IP68, IP69, and IP69K certification, meaning it can handle dust, water submersion, and even high-pressure, high-temperature water jets, a rating usually reserved for more expensive devices.
Honor also states the phone has passed SGS Premium Drop and Crush Resistance testing, with survival from drops of up to 2.5 meters. For buyers working outdoors, in construction, farming, or delivery jobs, this level of toughness is a genuine practical advantage rather than a marketing checkbox.

Performance and Chipset
The Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset is an entry-level 5G processor, not built for heavy gaming, but capable of handling everyday tasks, social media, calling, and light multitasking smoothly. Paired with up to 8GB of RAM and RAM Turbo technology, which uses spare storage as virtual memory, the phone should stay responsive even with several apps open.
Camera Performance
Honor kept the same camera hardware from the standard X7e Plus, using a 50MP main sensor with an auxiliary lens and LED flash. The front camera sits at 5MP. This setup covers daylight photography and casual selfies well, though it is not designed to compete with camera-focused mid-rangers.
Software and AI Features
The phone runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16, and comes with Honor’s full AI feature suite, including AI Image to Video 2.0, AI Eraser, AI Recorder, and Magic Portal. A dedicated AI button on the side gives quick access to features like Circle to Search, AI Memory, and Smart Recommendations, a convenience usually found on pricier devices.
Should You Wait for a Pakistan Launch
If you specifically want an X7e Plus 5G with Pakistan warranty and after-sales support, waiting for an official local launch is the safer option rather than importing one, since imported units may face PTA registration costs and lack local warranty coverage.
If Honor does bring this phone to Pakistan, expect the local price to be adjusted for import duties and currency conversion, likely landing higher than a direct dollar-to-rupee calculation from the Qatar price.

Conclusion
The Honor X7e Plus 5G stands out mainly because of its 8,100mAh battery and serious durability upgrades, both of which matter more to everyday users than spec-sheet extras like camera megapixels. It has launched in Qatar and Oman so far, and while a Pakistan release has not been confirmed, Honor’s existing footprint here makes it worth watching over the coming weeks.
